The ALPHA Course at Emmanuel!
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the meaning of life and the Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly setting. Each night of the Alpha course includes some food, a video, and a time of informal discussion. It is a great place to explore and learn, but also to make friendships! Alpha is a worldwide phenomenon, now in 164 countries, where millions of people have come to explore the Christian faith and the questions of the meaning of life.
We will be meeting on Wednesday Nights starting Wed September 25th, in our church library, from 6:30-8:30pm.
Alpha Sessions include exploring questions like: Is there more to life? Who was Jesus? Why did Jesus have to die? How can I have faith? How do I read my Bible? How do I pray? How does God guide us? Who is the Holy Spirit and what does He do? How can I resist Evil? What about the Church?
