Haiti Missions Update October 2016

Response to Hurricane Matthew

Many have been asking, 'What can we do to help Haiti following the Hurricane disaster?". It's been just 6 short weeks since our Computer Lab and Soccer team from OSM and Emmanuel returned from Haiti. The people we visited have been devastated. A 3 month, $10,000, short-term plan has been established through Mission of Tears and Emmanuel Baptist Church to help sustain life in the aftermath. This involves clearing 10km of road to provide access for the delivery of food, water, tents and medical supplies to the LaMardelle community located 45 minutes East of Port au Prince.

Trained Medical or Construction? A Rescue Team urgently required in the next few weeks: http://missionoftears.com/hurricane-matthew-relief-team.php

Haiti Missions Update 13June2016

It was a great time last night at Emmanuel Baptist in Bloomfield as the 2

016 Haiti Missions team was introduced at the information and sharing time during the evening service with Rev. Gordon Lewis of Mission of Tears delivering a powerful message about the opportunity for church development in Haiti.

Thanks to everyone that came out to show their support! If you missed it, it's not too late, a summary presentation can be viewed by downloading here.

The soccer balls have arrived! Consider a $50 donation to help us deliver a soccer ball to the kids in Haiti!
